This is one article that i read quite some time back . It hit me hard. For a guy who always has the comment “is easy doing work back home” this one article came out to put to light a few facts that i have never been given to opportunity to see though . This one is definite must read material to all housewives and for all othes who think being a housewife is easy

A father came home and found his three children were outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.
The door of his wife’s car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.
Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall.
In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon , and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.
In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor,a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.
He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor.
Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel.
She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, “What happened here today?”
She again smiled and answered, “You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world did I do today?”
“Yes,” was his incredulous reply.

She answered, “Well, today I didn’t do it.

The Power of Expression

July 11, 2007

Ahem … This post has two parts . The first half is a lot more important than the second . The idea of this post is greatly inspired by the Kamal Classic ”VIRUMANDI”.. so here it goes .

Part 1 :

A cold windy day in the city of chennai . One hazy morning , with bleak sunlight and heavy clouds strewn all over at around 6.40 comes out bus route number STR 55 . Amidst a group of young guys and girls waiting at the bus stop there was one very noticeable chap . He defined the very definition of handsome in the best possible ways a woman could define it . Perfectly dressed in business formals with tidy shoes and well set hair , Vignesh hopped into the bus with a lot of energy that could seldom be found in the rest . There always exists a glow in the way he carries himself . His confidence reflects in his face . With a very gentle smile greeting a few friends in the bus , he took a seat that was next to the window and took a look so as the enjoy the beauty of the place outside . As the bus moved on , he joked and had a little fun with the person sitting in front . The whole bus was filled with excitement and energy and all was attributed to Vignesh .

The bus moved on and reached the next stop . A group of 3 cheerful looking young women boarded the bus . They moved into the bus and were looking for a seat . The seat next to Vignesh was empty . All of a sudden there was a huge silence in the bus . The girls were in absolute dilemma of who should take the seat next to Vignesh. Each one of them wanted to , but were hesitant to as they were bothered about what the others will think of them . This silence gap was broken by the sudden screeching brake of the bus and Priyanka who was standing close to the seat was pushed into the seat (thanks to newtons laws of inertia D ). Priyanka always wanted to talk to him as she (like any other girl ) had a crush on Vignesh .She sat there close to him and for the first few minutes adjusted a few things and made herself comfortable . She was talking to herself and practising the first few words that she wanted to tell him , but even before she got to speak out , Vignesh introduced himself and asked her for her name . Priyanka was more than happy to tell him about herself . A few minutes passed and both were having quite a good conversation . It took both her friends who were sitting behind her , to shake her and remind her that she had her gating test at 10 am the same day . Priyanka punched her hand with the thought “Why the hell should it happen today “. She opened her books with an expression that said it all . She flipped thru a few pages and had a doubt , “Can a static member be accessed by a non static method ??”.She asked her friends the same question . They also had no reply . To her surprise , Vignesh got into the discussion and cleared their doubts . He was a pro in Java and was a brilliant student in College . Priyanka looked up so as to thank her stars for this as well . Throughout the bus journey Vignesh helped her easily understand a few difficult topics . Both her friends were also were asking Vignesh a few doubts that they had . Time flew and the bus had entered the office . It was time for them to get down and go to their respective workplaces . Priyanka asked for his number and Vignesh immediately responded by giving her his number .

Hours later , Vignesh received a message that read “Hi Vicky ( , i dint clear ” . Vignesh looked up and said ”Happens” .

Now here come the even more interesting part .

Part 2

What had actually happened was , Vignesh was sitting in a bus . A girl boarded the bus who sat in the seat behind him . After about an hour someone in the bus told her that he knows a lot of Java . So she asked Vignesh just one question in Java . Vignesh continued sleeping ….

This is the power of expression D . The same old story told in a different way looks totally different and a lot more interesting .

AM I IN LOVE ??????

May 17, 2006

I woke up today morning and this question hit me ! "AM I IN LOVE " . I was a person who never believed love can happen to me . But today morning i felt like "Have i also been hit ".

Love There have always been people around me who have tried to make me understand what love means to them and how much they like their girl . "What inspired them to fall in love " , was my first question and "What is love " was my second ! They have always made me realise that there is something called love which u can share with only one person and u'll do anything for her cos u like that much ! But i was not satisfied !

Why do i love her ? Do i love her beacuse she has always been around ! Come good times or bad time she has been there to support me ! The one person i rely on most ! The only person who stays calm ,quite and even manages to smile when i'm wild with her! There are many questions like this for which i dont have answers ! But i have a very stong liking for her ! Is that love ? I'm not sure !

In life , you never realise things when they've always been with you ! Once they start fading away , you understand it's worth and the importance of it being with you ! I dont know when i started liking her ! But i've always been liking her ! The fact was i never realised that I liked so much that , every day i spend hours with her . i cant spend a day without her ! Only when there arrived a day when i was not able to see her or spned time with her ,i came to realise how meaningless i was wihout her !

Yes ! I am in love ! I LOVE MY COMPUTER ! I cant stay away from her ! And cant let anything happen to her !I love her so much and i'll do anything to protect her ! many ppl like me do love their computers more than anything else ! it's just that they dont realise the importance now ! Sooner or later they will !

Love is BLIND !!!!

Who is to be Blamed !

FlagCleberations are on when India wins a match . Celebrations are on when Sania Mirza moves up in the scale . Celebration for semester results . Celebrations for brithdays . Celebrations for new mobile phones , new car . We just find reasons to celebrate . Thanks to our tradition that gives us so many occassions to celebrate . But are we forgetting one major thing that each and every one of us MUST CELEBRATE . Oh ! Yes we are . How many of us truly CELEBRATE our Independence day ???

It is ironical . A freedom struggle that created vibrations around the world is not being celebrated by everyone who is enjoying it .

When in school , everyone attends the independence day and republic day celebrations . And there it ends . In schools it is made compulsary that everyone attends the independence day celebrations . But most colleges and offices it does not happen . The government is definitely celebrating both the days in great stlye . But it cannot be made the responsibility to make sure every one of us do celebrate it . What maximun we can do is join them and celebrate it together .
It actually struck me very badly on my head once when a notice was read in my class . the notice read "On account of Independence day , tomorrow will be a HOLIDAY " . After this , I felt very bad . Our Independence day is called a HOLIDAY . Apart from the percentage of poeple who do celebrate it , for others it is a day where they can relax , watch a movie , have fun etc . Hundreds and Thousands of men and women laid down their lives so that we can have a life where we have freedom to decide upon things and is this the gratitude we repay ?

Who can we blame ? ? The government ,Educational Institutions ,Business Firms – No . We are to be blamed . The fault is ours . We have been cut off from all our duties for one day so that we can CELEBRATE and GLORIFY the work of our ancestors who made CELEBRATION possible in this country . It is We who misuse it as a holiday . We need to change . WE .

He is brave , who has the courage to accept his mistake
