The Power of Expression

Ahem … This post has two parts . The first half is a lot more important than the second . The idea of this post is greatly inspired by the Kamal Classic ”VIRUMANDI”.. so here it goes .

Part 1 :

A cold windy day in the city of chennai . One hazy morning , with bleak sunlight and heavy clouds strewn all over at around 6.40 comes out bus route number STR 55 . Amidst a group of young guys and girls waiting at the bus stop there was one very noticeable chap . He defined the very definition of handsome in the best possible ways a woman could define it . Perfectly dressed in business formals with tidy shoes and well set hair , Vignesh hopped into the bus with a lot of energy that could seldom be found in the rest . There always exists a glow in the way he carries himself . His confidence reflects in his face . With a very gentle smile greeting a few friends in the bus , he took a seat that was next to the window and took a look so as the enjoy the beauty of the place outside . As the bus moved on , he joked and had a little fun with the person sitting in front . The whole bus was filled with excitement and energy and all was attributed to Vignesh .

The bus moved on and reached the next stop . A group of 3 cheerful looking young women boarded the bus . They moved into the bus and were looking for a seat . The seat next to Vignesh was empty . All of a sudden there was a huge silence in the bus . The girls were in absolute dilemma of who should take the seat next to Vignesh. Each one of them wanted to , but were hesitant to as they were bothered about what the others will think of them . This silence gap was broken by the sudden screeching brake of the bus and Priyanka who was standing close to the seat was pushed into the seat (thanks to newtons laws of inertia ). Priyanka always wanted to talk to him as she (like any other girl ) had a crush on Vignesh .She sat there close to him and for the first few minutes adjusted a few things and made herself comfortable . She was talking to herself and practising the first few words that she wanted to tell him , but even before she got to speak out , Vignesh introduced himself and asked her for her name . Priyanka was more than happy to tell him about herself . A few minutes passed and both were having quite a good conversation . It took both her friends who were sitting behind her , to shake her and remind her that she had her gating test at 10 am the same day . Priyanka punched her hand with the thought “Why the hell should it happen today “. She opened her books with an expression that said it all . She flipped thru a few pages and had a doubt , “Can a static member be accessed by a non static method ??”.She asked her friends the same question . They also had no reply . To her surprise , Vignesh got into the discussion and cleared their doubts . He was a pro in Java and was a brilliant student in College . Priyanka looked up so as to thank her stars for this as well . Throughout the bus journey Vignesh helped her easily understand a few difficult topics . Both her friends were also were asking Vignesh a few doubts that they had . Time flew and the bus had entered the office . It was time for them to get down and go to their respective workplaces . Priyanka asked for his number and Vignesh immediately responded by giving her his number .

Hours later , Vignesh received a message that read “Hi Vicky , i dint clear ” . Vignesh looked up and said ”Happens” .

Part 2

What had actually happened was , Vignesh was sitting in a bus . A girl boarded the bus who sat in the seat behind him . After about an hour someone in the bus told her that he knows a lot of Java . So she asked Vignesh just one question in Java . Vignesh continued sleeping ….

This is the power of expression . The same old story told in a different way looks totally different and a lot more interesting .
